We provide sport rehabilitation services to the Mississauga and Etobicoke, Ontario areasA physical therapy evaluation is often the first step in the sports rehabilitation process. This assessment identifies areas of deficit, including range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.

An individualized recovery plan will be established to address the areas of deficiency, and the plan should work to achieve the patient’s own objectives for treatment. It may include pain management/reduction, restoration of strength and motion through exercise, manual therapy techniques, functional training, and education.

How long will sports rehabilitation take? The length of rehab varies, depending on the patient’s goals, the severity of symptoms, and when therapy is initiated. Often, therapy services are coordinated with ongoing treatment prescribed by a medical doctor. The frequency of visits can only be determined after a therapist has performed a comprehensive evaluation.

What type of recovery/outcome can I expect? Sports rehabilitation is designed to maximize your physical abilities in order to return to full functionality.
